What is Spiritual Direction?

Spiritual direction provides space to explore one’s spiritual journey with a companion trained to listen deeply to another’s experiences. Without promoting an agenda, a spiritual director creates a safe, judgment-free environment to pay attention to the spiritual dimension of life, connect deeply with God, examine personal beliefs, ask difficult questions, discern purpose, or heal from spiritual wounds.
